The Australian Bridal Fashion Week (ABFW) was this years ‘must attend’ event for all Australian bridal couture designers to showcase their new collections to brides and bridal gown retailers.
International and Australian buyers, along with members of the media, had exclusive access to all the runways shows. Some of the world’s most talented bridal designers were on show: Catherine R Couture, LUOM.O, Holly Rose Couture, Shane McConnell Couture, Inbal Dror, Corston Couture and many more.
The Bridal Shopping Day attracted brides-to-be, wedding vendors and fashionistas. There was loads of entertainment with Veuve Champagne and high tea by the Sofitel Wentworth, a Deluxe Wine and Olive Bar by Pokolbin Estate, a Bobbi Brown Beauty Bar (with nails, lashes and make up), as well as a selection of the best shoes, accessories and gown designers with pop up shops.
I was thrilled to be a part of the ABFW, with both a pop-up store, and with my jewellery on display in collaborations with Holly Rose Couture and Catherine R Couture.
Every stunning bridal gown needs to be topped off with gorgeous jewels
I love designing couture wedding jewellery. So I was over the moon when the amazing Holly Rose Couture and Catherine Couture asked me to collaborate with them for the runway show.
Complimenting their stunning bridal gowns, I was able to showcase some of my handmade, crystal couture jewellery pieces. There’s nothing quite like seeing a beautiful model wearing your jewellery and showing it off perfectly to Australian and International retailers.
A picture really does tell a thousand words so rather than describe how elegantly amazing these models looked on the day, I’ll show you.
